Rob R. Rodriguez, Founder of Family 4 Life, is a Foster/Adoptive Parent Trainer and Fatherhood Consultant and experienced Foster/Adoptive single father who has been recognized for his extensive work and success in foster care/adoption, sibling reunification, Fatherhood and Mentoring. Rob brings more than 30 years of collective experience in foster parenting, preschool and school age programming, community service leadership, developing Fatherhood programs and Mentoring.
As a member of a large family, Rodriguez uses his childhood learning experiences and extensive foster and adoptive care work to help families in need of guidance, resources and tools. As a State and National level Presenter, he empowers families and professionals through practical advice and simple techniques for managing challenging situations on both a short-term and long-term basis. His training, presentations and workshops combine storytelling, educational experiences and personal inspiration to create valuable, practical training with real-world application.
Rob currently serves as Director of the a program providing fatherhood education and promoting positive family relationships; and Family Ties Project, a project offering support to foster and adoptive families.
Rob was named San Marcos High School Distinguished Alumnus for 2017 for his work with Family 4 Life, Mentoring disadvantaged youth and his support and education of fathers in his community.
Rob has presented at the Texas Foster Family Association Winter Growth Conference, Texas Foster Family Association State Conference and The National Foster Family Association Conference as well.
Rob was recognized for his work with the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant at Hernandez Intermediate School—where he trained and motivated teachers, students and parents through his work. The Texas Pathfinder School Collaborative for innovative programs in Texas schools deemed his program an Outstanding Program for students and their families.
